I hope that by the time you read this, the maintenance building project will be complete except for some landscaping that won’t be done until the fall.  The staff still has some clean-up and organization to do, but things will be neat and orderly soon.  Thank you for your patience.  While I am saying thank you, I want to acknowledge the assistance of the following members who helped bring this project together.

I want to also thank Danny Smith and Phil Pressotto for staying on top of things on a daily basis.

 You have probably noticed the roped off area in #14 fairway in front of the green.  There is a metal culvert under the fairway that has rusted and collapsed.  Both TDOT and Metro have inspected it and agree that one of them is responsible for repair.  At this point, they haven’t decided which one of them it will be.  We aren’t in any rush to have the work done until after the golfing season ends unless the situation gets worse.

 I can’t let a newsletter go by without mentioning membership.  They say that what makes advertising effective is repetition of the message more than the message itself, so I will continue to repeat the message.  We need you to keep membership in your thoughts and invite your friends and business associates to check out OHCC.  It is the best value in town.
